About Me

Photography excites me, always another genre and another challenge.

I am a dedicated photographic enthusiast and my work has been used in numerous publications.
As a Quality Engineer by profession I apply equally high standards to my photography.
I was born and bred in Kent and discovered my passion for Photography during my teenage years, spending many hours as a keen angler observing the prolific wildlife around the lakes and rivers of South East England.
My photographic work covers many photographic genres, though nature and wildlife are still my passion, hopefully my love of British wildlife and nature shines through in my photographs.
Due to health reasons, I converted to the smaller and lighter Micro Four Thirds system a few years ago. Finding the weight less demanding made it easy to use, it has not disappointed in its ability to produce quality images even in quite demanding situations.
All the images displayed on this site have been taken using the M4/3 system.

I currently Tutor photography for Centrepieces Mental Health Art Project. Using photography as a positive recovery tool encouraging expression, well-being, self-worth, awareness and the social understanding of mental health.

My current kit consists of:
  • Panasonic Lumix DC G9
  • Olympus OMD-EM1-MKII
  • Panasonic Leica 100-400mm f/1.4-6.3
  • Panasonic Leica Elmarit 8-18mm f/2.8-4.0
  • Panasonic Leica Nocticron 42.5mm f1.2
