Photography excites me, as there is always another genre and another challenge.
I am a passionate photographer with work featured in many publications. As a Quality Engineer by profession I try to apply equally high standards to my photography. I was born and bred in Kent and discovered my passion for Photography during my teenage years, spending many hours as a keen angler observing the prolific wildlife around the lakes and rivers of South East England. My photographic work covers many genres, though nature and wildlife are still my passion, hopefully my love of British wildlife and nature shines through in my photographs.
After suffering a breakdown in June 2008, and as part of my ongoing recovery, in January 2009 I was introduced to Centrepieces Mental Health Art Project. Due to having an extensive photographic background and a general love of photography; I took up the challenge of assisting in the tutoring of the photographic group, thus using photography as a positive recovery tool encouraging expression, well-being, self-worth, awareness and the social understanding of mental health.
Although I am no longer tutoring with them my time there and the people I met will always be remembered.
